IH made their own distributors. They did not use the Delco vertical distributor from the factory, at least as far as the Super A goes. IH did offer a changeover kit to convert from mag to battery ignition. Consisted of an IH distributor, two pole ignition switch and necessary wiring. My Super A had one of these kits added, I have converted it back to the IH mag.
