This is a story about a guy and his good old boys who didn't have enough to do today. Seems he was on his way home from the farm when a fox and vixen ran out onto the road in front of him. He sat watching their retreat when a good old boy happened by, who phoned another good old boy and the hunt was on. The foxes went to the middle of the block and laid down after some time. I..er..this fellow volunteered to walk across the corn stubble and roust them and by that time they were both curled up and sleeping. This fellow didn't have a gun along and amazingly got within 25 yards of them when the fox perked up his ears and hightailed it right back along the fence line where the hunters were lying in wait. I heard ...this fellow heard shooting and determined that the foxes had met their fate, but upon arriving at the shooting scene found that neither fox nor vixen had come to harm whereup he told his compatriots there was nothing more he could do, he had found the foxes, rounded them up and headed them to the ambush..these two good old boys will hear for a long time how they had foxes running right at them and they came up empty handed, as for our friend, he had an enjoyable hour or so, got some exercise and lavished in the excitment of the hunt and do you know what the best part of it was......those two beautiful foxes are safe and sound , what gorgeous condition they were in paws black as coal, throats as white as the snow, beautiful bushy tails..like I said this is about some good old boys that didn't have much to do......Mike in Exeter Ontario

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
