There were several companys that made an add on foot brake for these.The one I am familiar with was installed by removing the spring at the brake,then it just slipped on and you replaced the spring.The pedals came up behind the rear axle and were adjusted and locked with a set screw.I think these would be considered correct as nothing was removed,these were just added on.I know this is as clear as mud,maybe the Cowman could explain this better.John
