Thats your desicion but I would not waste the money. Fix the mag. Take the coil wire out of the dist cap and hold it close to the screw on the side about a 1/4" away and spin her over and look for spark. You may want to unhook the wire to that screw to rull out switch. And try a new coil wire to rull that out. Let me know what you get. and what color . If you dont go with points and condenser then if still no spark go to the coil.
