May be hard to find an original IH widefront. Many of those you see on older Farmalls are probably an aftermarket Schwartz front end (I have one such on my 560). They do come in different spindle sizes, so be aware of what you are buying. I found out after I had bought, that the one I have is a light weight unit, originally intended for use on a 460, but it bolts right up. I kept the tricycle front-end for enhanced value should I ever decide to sell the tractor. May even put it back on at that time, and sell the Schwartz seperately. Probably get more overall that way. Don't know what a new Schwartz is worth, but if I remember right, I gave $400 for mine w/o wheels and tires (used the wheels and tires off the tricycle).
