Randy: Like old, I went to a company with a grader. Trucking companies who use chains will be the same. These guys encounter speed thus when chains start breaking a lot they just go for new ones. Most of them have a pile of chains in corner. Company I bought from charged me $20. for 3 chains, and loaned me their tool for changing cross chains. I built a pair of chains for Farmall 130. That was 10-12 years ago and I still have a 5 gallon bucket full of spare cross chains and pieces of side chain.
