Do you know the model of the sickle mower?
I have a C-28 and tried all last summer to make it work on my S/C without success. Despite using at highest two point height the PTO drive was still anlged down and I went through many u-joints. Also could not keep the outer end of the bar forward at proper angle as owners manual prescribes. Finally took it back to the old IH dealer and told him to try and resell it after I had invested over $700.00 in purchase and extensive parts.
