CNKS has a point, but I know a guy that pulls his M at around 95 hp, and I am sure there are a lot of guys that do the same thing. A Powerstroke, obviously, would be way above that. But like the other posts said, if you don't pull it, use it with the implements it was intended, and don't weight the heck out of the rear end, you won't need to touch the tranny or the rear end, the tires will simply spin. It is your $, you would have a neat conversation piece if that's what you are after, but I wouldn't worry about shelling out the tranny or rear end. At least, no with the first M, if you go through it pretty fast, then maybe :)
