Why don't you talk to your neighbors and other farmers in your area that grow them? They will know alot more then you will find out here. The only issue on this site here is regionalization. What works in your county usually only works in your county. Ask them the returns, yields, sprays, etc.. I'm sure they'll be straight with you, just like the fella's here. In yesterdays Voice of the Farmer paper, an article stated that the warm weather we had in January, caused the piles to heat up. You know the company won't be eating that lost. Hound bto-Go easy on Allen, he's only trying to help.

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill.
