Everyone feel free to correct me, I like to learn. Couple of things to look at. The front of the nose cone logo. Most of the time, the Supers have an IH logo and the regulars have a Farmall logo, industrials will have International. Also, if you look at the stamp in the block, if its a 248 its and M, 264 is SM/400, and if its a 281 its a late 400 or 450. Disc brakes would make it more likely a SM, just b/c of numbers. Plus, look at where the hydraulic pumps are located. Usually an M only has a belly pump.
