B Watson: Most IH loaders built up until 1970 will fit your 300. I will warn you, these loaders, when new came with a kit for mounting to a particular tractor. Unless you find one that came directly from an SH, 300 or 350 you'll probably need some fabrication. This is not usually very difficult, even with different makes of loaders other than IH. I once mounted a Wagner loader from a Cockshutt 540 on my Farmall 300, probably less than 4 hours welding and fabrication. That was coming from a utility type tractor and going to row crop. Row crop to row crop would be quite quick. Loaders are pretty much one shape, if it reaches from rear axle cariers to front end and clears hood on top, it can be made to fit.
