Yesterday I pulled the 1466 out to get the planter out. I let it idle for about fifteen minutes, when I went to get back on it there was about a gallon of hydraulic oil pumped out of the steering motor. I pulled it up to the shop and took all of the tin work off. Sure enough, oil all over the steering motor. Checked the lines (all tight, couldn"t get that lucky) then I started it up to see where the oil was pouring out. Guess what, I couldn"t make it leak! I think the oil was comeing out of the top shaft seal, directly under the steering wheel. Anybody have this problem before? Can that seal leak, then seat back up again? Is it really a job getting the steering motor out? I"m not looking forward to this one :( Thanks, Paul
