If you are familiar with the letter series carbs, and assume the Super and 00/50 series to be the same, they aren't. Try adjusting the main jet screw 5 turns out, which is the maximum power setting. That may not be the problem, but I can see a lean condition causing more problems in cold than warm conditions, particularly if you are unable to run the tractor enough to get it completely warmed up. Takes a while sometimes.
