I have not used bc/cc, because I don't think it is necessary on a tractor, but I am certainly not opposed if someone wants to use it. Terminology: there is no such thing as bc/cc enamel (you did not say there was). Use acrylic enamel with or with out hardener. Do not use synthetic enamel, it is inferior compared to acrylic (fades faster). Or use the next step up from acrylic enamel, acrylic urethane. Acrylic urethane must have hardener, acrylic enamel can be used with or without. If you use hardener, you need a supplied air system, because a charcoal mask will not filter out the isocyanates in the hardener. Iso's can be deadly, and can make even a first time painter sick. Many places for gauges, OEM Tractor Parts has them, you might see if Justin Weber (IHparts.com) has any NOS ones.
