Whether or not you authorized all the work that was done is to be decided between you and him. I think he did a thorough job, nothing that should not have been done to accomplish a first rate overhaul.Sounds like he may have done more than you expected. As to the price,
I just paid my machine shop $90 to press & fit 4 wrist pin bushings and $60 to true up a manifold. Did you get a quote in advance?
