FBK is the prefix for an M. The U means power unit, so UBK is the designation for the U6 power unit. UDBK is the diesel version. There is a description of it in the M/6 series service manual. My dad had an International power unit he used as an irrigation engine, not sure it was a U6, but probably was. It had a 12 inch wide or so belt maybe 15-20 feet long that ran from a horizontal pulley on the pto shaft to a vertical pulley on the pump in the well. That was a fairly common configuration in those days, now most gas or diesel power units used for irrigation have an automotive style driveshaft. This same engine was used in the 6 series tractors, W6, O6, I6, etc in addition to the M. There was also what IH called a "tractor over engine" configuration, the IU6 or IUD6 This means the engine sat on top of the tractor rear end housing, as was used in road graders, etc, as such engines were in the rear -- I have never seen one of those. Nothing special about it as they were rather common, but nowadays perhaps somewhat rare. You might get the M/6 series service manual--it has pictures and other info you might find of interest. I don't know of any other specific info, you might try a Google search or something, or perhaps this response will bring others into the conversation.
