The loader itself will fit about 75% of the IH tractors out there. The thing you really need to watch out for are the mounts. There's probably at least ten different variations of mounts. Don't buy a tractor unless you're 100% sure you can find the correct ones. I got fairly lucky, bought a 2250 without knowing what it came off of, I didn't know better. Those mounts sure looked like they would bolt up to a 706, but ended up doing some pretty major modifications, making several 1" holes in the 3/4" thick mounts. I think you should just trade the whole thing. Most common IH utility tractors with MFWD are the bigger 84 series, and tons of those arleady have 2250 loaders. Also look into the Case-IH 85 and 95 series, same thing as an 84, but I would guess that MFWD is more common on them.
