Many farms are like a ship not seaworthy, the stubborn old farm owner it's captain, young family members much like young sailors. If you are the captain of a sinking ship and you are hell bent to go down with it, for heavens sake, encourage your sailors to take the life boat and to make that choice on thieir own.
