They all look the same, fit the same, run the same. Almost all of our M, SuperM, SMTA, and 400's were factory installed systems with 12 volt distributors, coils, batterys. The lights were 6 volt w/resistors. I use them almost every day cause they are all that I know how to keep running year after year. By the way, I'm in the Pecos Valley in southeastern New Mexico. I have about 14 of them and keep 4 running. Am attaching a photo of my old stand by SM (with several add ons). I'm a 73 year old retired school teacher/farmer/sheep rancher and still work on my little farm every day. OOPS Cannot get the image attached----don't know how to do it!The reason I have so many of these old tractors, my ex-students would see me working on my old super M and stop and say, Ottie I got one of those in my bone yard, if you want it -go get it.
