I didn't answer your question. Unless IH changed the serial location when the C123 became the C 135, the serial number is on a machined boss under the #1 spark plug, provided it is not a factory replacement engine, then all bets are off. Also if the Yellow industrial is different from the red 404 utility, my statement about the chassis serial may be incorrect also, but unless someone says otherwise, IH didn't make 100000 C135's. If I'm out on a limb, someone with the correct data can saw it off.
