Engine hoist (shop crane ) the easyest just block up rear end and go. Or do as Hugh says thats how I split 460 and up also on wide fronts I have read (I believe in I.T. manuals ) that you can block the engine to the wide front and use a rolling jack also. If you block please wire blocks so they cant fall out..I have never done it that way and I really am careful with top heavy loads because they can be very dangerous.. Once they start to fall watch out they go fast...
