Allan, If you get a used one, I just repaired mine last weekend and it works great. Here's my "hit and miss, try it 'till it works method": I brazed up the little latch then filed it back close to it's original size. Then I straightened the handle where it had bent after 56 years of being jerked on. Then the important part:I took the valve spring from an F12 and cut a couple of rounds off. Tried to assemble it, cut another round, tried it, etc. When I could finally force it back together(got the wife to help compress the spring while I started the bolts) it holds better than any one I've seen, and it's not too hard to pull! Sorry for the long post, but too much info is better than not enough in my book. Kevin
