I have no experience with LP but I cannot possibly imagine there is any difference from the gas or the LP. Try this, remove the starter drive from your starter, take it with you to the dealer, and ask the parts man to show you a starter drive for a gas model 400. Then compare the two. I could be wrong but I think you will find that there is no differance. It is possible the parts person does not have a listing for the 400 LP, that is why he says he doesn't have one.
