Don't get too excited just yet!! Those levers can just break off. Also, if you pull the lever, there is a roll pin on the inner end that holds teh shift fork in place on the shaft, they often break. If the lever and roll pin are all that's broke, you don't want to split the tractor! Take out the three bolts that hold the lever in place and inspect the assembly. If the roll pin is in place, double check to see that it was actually in the groove in the PTO collar (somebody else may have had it apart before. ;)
