Cant beat those 70s Ford trucks.Classic styling,tried and true components,and a lack of plastic junk means a truck that will last and last and last.One big move on Ford's part was the wheelwell liners which Dodge and GM didnt have.Sure helped make things take the elements a lot better.Now of course the fender liners are pretty much standard issue.A case of following Ford's lead.The 1977 F-Series started Fords dominance in pickups.....they have led sales ever since as a single brand nameplate.I myself prefer the 78/79 front ends with square headlamps.78 was a great year for Ford.Of course the prior yeared "Jesse Duke" Fords were legends too...
