The "accepted" range of C demo serials is 47010-54411. To each his own, but when I found mine was originally white, I repainted it red anyway -- I have to look at it everyday, to me Farmalls should be red, I do not like white. Saw one advertised for $10000 once -- no way, it's just white paint. To answer your question -- yes. My source is Richard Lantis, an expert on white and gold demos, he used to be an IH dealer, and actually nearly rolled a white C while delivering it to one of his dad's customers (he took over his dad's business) when he was 10-12 years old. He did this as he turned into the customer's driveway. He was told not to use 4th, but did anyway.
