I thought I would take the advice and use a rattle can chrome. So I wet sanded the reflector with 360. It really brightened up. Checked it with a magnet, it's aluminium. So I gave it some 600, some 1000, some 1500. And it looked like a mirror. So just to gloat, I gave it a few minutes with cotton buffing wheel and machine compond, followed with some jewelr's rouge. Wanna guess what happened? Clearcoat and install. (Where is that damn spring?) I am going to reread all the posts re photos and see if I can show you "better than new reflectors, free". Gordo
