Allan: I'm in agreement with you, should be a law banning front end loaders from row crop tractors. My complaint here is not safety related. I just can't understand why anyone would want to hang a bunch of rattling metal on the front of one of the very best drawbar tractors man has known. My dad used to say who needs that loader cutting drawbar productivity in half. This guy in the photo was clearly an idiot. I put him in the same catergory as folks who try to drive 70 mph on snow covered roads at near freezing temps. Or the guy driving mid summer with windows rolled up, air on, and it starts to rain. I told a local police officer rather than block the 4 lane to remove these vehicles. They should be required by law to pay for a sign 10" letters saying, " I am John Doe and I am stupid." erected on top of their vehicle, and further be required to leave the vehicle there for 48 hours for the motoring public to see. Towing companies could pick these up after 48 hours at times when highway is practically empty. Same with that tractor guy in photo, had nothing to do with tractor front end. It's basically level ground. Clear case of stupidity. They probably should hand cuff him to the Deere and put the sign up for the proposed manditory 48 hours. Give him a blanket, bread and water.
