Thanks, Bill, that is an interesting article. I have been wanting to learn more about the torque/horsepower relationship. It still leaves me in the dark a bit though. They're talking cars where acceleration is important. I'm wondering why my old 600 which is rated at 67 hp and 500ft/lbs torque will out work a more modern 100hp tractor. Seems like the 'Vette people want those rpms, but I want sheer, raw torque. Same with my F-12, it will out work any 12 hp garden tractor. Seems like in the ag world torque is all that's important, while in automotive, hp and rpms win. Any thoughts? Paul
