I had to go down and read the prior post to find out who your "enemy" was. Imagine my shock to find out you were talking about Hugh. I have to tell you, Allen, that many have been the times in the past few months when I have wondered who you were and why you were posting about your horses etc on this and other forums to which it does not relate. Just the other day I read something that I thought would have been better of on the talers board. This post today is another example. It just doesn't have much to do with the topic. Sounds more like you were bored and wanted to show off your shop. Now if a few of you want to class me with Hugh as "an old grouch" then so be it. I can tell you that I have known Hugh through the forums for a couple of years now and he doesn't deserve that type of criticism. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me and many others and usually has a good story to embellish his advice with. I would also like to comment that I enjoy a little OT conversation on the forums and have strongly opposed those who would like it all to stop. I don't think you made an enemy in Hugh and you certainly don't have an enemy in me. I just think that the persistant OT chatter about personal matters in topical forums is starting to annoy a few people. Now that I have painted THAT bullseye on my back, guys....fire at will.
