If it has a 12 volt battery then it probably has been converted to 12 volts already. Does it have an alternator on it? If it does, then its 12 volts for sure. I cannot remember the firing order on that 4 cylinder engine for the life of me, I remember 6 cylinder engines but not 4. The firing order is stamped on one side of the engine somewhere. #1 cylinder is the front of the engine. The dist. cap has #1 stamped on it by the # 1 tower, it may have the rest of the cylinders stamped on it too. Someone can correct me if Im wrong, but I think the distributor rotates counterclockwise, so you put the wires on the cap in the firing order going counterclockwise around the towers on the cap.
