Hi Dave, You can drive out one those sleeves after you remove the piston. When I restore an A the pistons were seized and I soaked them with transmission fluid. Two pistons came with the sleeves and the other two pistons came out without the sleeves. I had a puck made and they came out too. Once they clear the sleeve seals you can probably lift them out by hand. They're not pressed in like the dry sleeves. I have sketch, if you would want a copy I'll mail it to you. You can either pull the 3.0" sleeve or the 3.125" with one puck. If this was an original A they would accept the 3.125" sleeves without any machining. That's the size I used in mine when I redid the engine. I just used the old connecting rods off the old pistons and had the machine shop to install them on the new pistons. Hal
