Try a search under "H bull gear removal". There was some good discussion back in January 8&9 about the same problem you are having. "Aces" had a great suggestion for pushing out the axel. I have my "H" tranny cover off right now, getting ready for warmer weather. Both brake shaft seals are leaking. Hoping the bearings are OK. Good luck.
