Thanks to you guys encouragement I kept at it and today at 2 p.m. the old girl came back to life. Since some of you wanted to know the final autopsy results here goes.(Sorry to bore the rest of ya). This is the 11th or 12th tractor I've redone and was the second most challenging thus far. The most challenging was my 460 turbo charged Farmall (called "MIGRAINE" ) which we really had apart in various degrees 3 different times before we made it obey. But this one was a good reminder for me to remember not to pay too much for these old iron hulks because you will get burned. I'll be okay on this thing because I was firm on my initial offer so I could fix whatever came up. Final Results: Complete new Torque Amplifier and all the related seals and bearings, New IPTO gear after 3 tries finally determined that this thing has 1206 or 1256 gears in the torque housing, New clutch as the mismatched gears actually pulled the rivets loose on the pressure plate and wore the center spline, new mcv pump and drive gear to match the big gear since that big one is 621 dollars from I.H., New spring and seal kit in the valve body and all the right gaskets since the ones previously installed blocked half of the ports for steering, TA and brakes, New rear engine main oil seal so not to have to take this baby apart for that leak in the future, Tighten up all the shifting linkage and parking brake assemblies so everything is back smooth. Many more things but this is long enough for now. The tractor started right up and is now quiet and everything works as new. A few more days of working on fenders, moving wheels, and tightening up the loose wide front and maybe it will be ready for power washing final time, change the hydraulic filter one more time and see if it deserves new paint or has to wear the old coat for awhile. Thanks for letting me ramble. I have not added up the bills yet, don't really want to, I'm too tired. Going to bed. Migraine

I'm running 100 yards of 4" drain pipe from the gutter downspouts of our house to a pond down the hill. This should hel
