I dont know any of the engine numbers but a good friend has a 706 with a engine from a 5088 in it.Hood was wrecked so he never put it back on but the tractor has had this engine for about 10 years now and to my knowledge he has never had any tranny trouble or rearend,she is pretty peppy too,oh one more thing she is not a show tractor gets used about everyday.Call a major junkyard they should tell you if the pads are the same.
