Y'all may recall a post or two in the past regarding certain, um, less-than-fastidious renters in my immediate neighborhood who were kind enough to augment my pasture fertilization program via their malfunctioning septic system. Well, I think we can consider that problem solved, at least for the forseeable future. They finally managed to achieve what I have been predicting would happen all along: They burned their trailer flat to the ground. No one was hurt, everyone got out, but the trailer is history. I was wrong about the cause, I figured it would be the wood stove. Turns out it was a halogen worklight (!?) that fell on a pile of laundry. And before anyone goes in the predictable direction with this, I was at work all day, and have witnesses that will swear to that. :-) I was, unfortunately, too late to help put it out, but I did help clean up the gear and put the trucks back in service. My luck, they'll fix up the house and move 'em in there...
