I hope you guys have got your notifier on since this post has fallen so far down on the list. I ran the big guy last night for a while. I checked valve adjustment, pump timing, etc. Everything checks out. I found that if I add the slightest ether stream, and I mean slightest, he smooths right out, and stays smooth after I stop the ether for a bit and then falls back into that less than perfect running. Acceleration also smoothes it out. What do you think? Curt
