Great post Captaink. I have noticed the same thing to some degree. There are a few on this board who must suck lemons for breakfast and who think that they somehow have earned the right to be crass and harsh with their posting as well as seeming to think that their boorishness is either folksy, humorous or uniquely qualified to ride rough shod over others. It is surprising sometimes in life whether it be a message board or the people you run into occasionally what takes the place of a helpful hand or common courtesy. If one ever has occasion to dig deeper into the background of these "know it all" scrooges one invariably encounters some sort of bitter, damaged or scarred personality for whatever reason. They expect to be treated harshly and their mind correspondingly just defaults to treating others the same way. The old saying of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." could stand to be given a spring cleaning and tried out in some peoples lives.
