To do a pressure check ya need a fitting to go into the bottom of the mcv and hook a gauge there . or if you can come up with the set up that you install in place of the dump valve but that you will have to buy . i like the mcv to have 265 to 285 lbs also check and make sure that there is nothing blocking the steering orface . When ever i do a T/A i go thru the mcv and replace all gskts and o/ring and install a new spring kit and do a flow check on the pump and then and only then do i replace the pump.
