John, Congradulations you are the proud father of a red classic Farmall M. The number you provided is actually the rear frame or the transmission or differential housing whatever you prefer to call it. The axle housings bolt on to that part and should have part nos. like 6734 (left) and 6735 (right) followed with a D and maybe other letters. I think this ID is correct but that engine no. would be nice. Have a great evening. Hal
