It's been a while since I took one out, but the IH dealer I worked at had the handles to remove the unit. I beleive the on side was a straight bar and the other side was a T shape with a roll pin through it to keep the unit from rotating when you lowered it. When you replace the unit the piece that whent between the coupler we used electric tape to attach it to the trasmission side when we replaced it. Hope this helps
