OK guys, I've heard that you have to drop the belly pump to replace the tranny seals, but on mine that is not true. There is enough room up there to take the bolts out of the driveshaft joint and move the driveshaft forward a little bit. This gives you enough room to take the bolt out of the center of the yoke that goes into the tranny and slip the yoke off the end of the shaft. At that point, you can remove the three bolts holding the piece the seal fits into. R/R the seal on your workbench, make (or buy) a new gasket and put the piece back on the front of the tranny, making sure the drain slot is located at the bottom. Put your yoke back on , making sure the key is still in the slot on the shaft. Put the center bolt back in and line up the driveshaft and put the bolts back in the joint, making sure the taper is going the right way. Maybe my tractor is worn so much that I've got all this slop in there and shouldn't have, but that's the way I've replaced seals on two of mine. HTH. Larry
