I had a Sherman Backhoe on a Fordson Major Diesel which had a LARGE mydraulic pump mounted on the side of the tractor.

You would be super slow with the tractor's hydraulics, in my opinion.

It sounds like an unsuitable marriage. Teh hoe may be too heavy for the three point.
