Worth of Cub highboy- 1957 all original with impli

My neighbor wants me to buy his 1957 cub high boy with a plow, disk, and 3 1/2 foot brush hog. It also comes with what is called a quick hitch. He is asking 2500.00 for all. The tractor runs well, only has one original light and needs painted and some original metal decals, but overall pretty solid. Would this be a good deal? I am basically a Ford N guy but maybe I need a new hobby. Any help would be appreciated. Pokey
