Chris Could be one of many things or a combination. The first thing I would do is jack it up to see if you turn it. If not could be the nut on top is pulling the shaft up to tight, the gear on top is on a tapper spline so it will get tight without getting tight in the housing. If it truns free maybe the thrust bearing on the bottom is bad. Could be the bearing on the front end of the steering shaft. Could be the nut holding the bearing on the warn shaft binding in the plug in frint of the bearing. There is on bolt that holds the lower splinale to the bloster shaft that is a stop so you can nut turn to far ether way if it is in the wrong hole it will cause a problem. There are four bolts and the top bolt goes in front but don't remember if it goes to the right or left front.
