You didn't say what year your "M" is...so check on the carb at the float chamber...if there is a "brass nut" on the outside of the float chamber, unscrew it and clean out the jets...now there is a long jet that runs horizontally thru that brass fixture...and if it is stopped up, it will not run!! You will need a very small needle to run thru that jet...or use an acetylene torch cleaning tool (wire) and once that jet is clean...she'll run!! Lotsaluck ! Jim
