Jonboy, I think you hit the nail on the head, he was a pack rat. I like to see parts and tractors put to use. Those parts will never see the light of day.
He had put the tool box together with a JD PTO cover. After I had won the bid, I asked him if he wanted the PTO cover (he was wearing a JD hat and I was wearing my IHC hat). He said no because he did not have a tractor to put it on! He asked me what I was going to do with the tool box. I told him I was going to sell it on ebay, and that set him off. Later on in the sale, a guy asked me what was going on between us because he saw some of the bidding action.
