There are two dowels in box that will keep is from moving after adjusting. I believe the dowels are 7/16 from factory. But after adjusting gearbox, holes must be reamed for 1/2 dowels (may be wrong on the sizes). If these dowels are left out, the two halves of box could move. If it did move you would think the operator would notice the play in steering had gotten worse !
