Yea,I read that.It seems the shaft driven PTO was the clear winner over electric.Guess farmers didnt trust anything new fangled and electrical,take good ole mechanical anyday.
Maybe thats why so many of these 300Us came without power steering.....not only the price,but the added complexity...if its not power assisted,what could go wrong???? Well,all these years later,the power steering option would have been the way to go.
