Forgot to tell you. If your library does interstate, interlibrary loans, you can get a copy of _HYDRAULIC LIFT-ALL for Farmalls H, HV, M, MV, MD and MDV_ (manual number GSS-5034), published by International Harvester Company, from the STATE LIBRARY OF LA - the call number is 629.225. The pumps are easy to rebuild - the hardest parts are getting them down and getting that coupler off. I rebuilt mine a couple of winters ago and all the parts (balls, springs, gasket for between the pump and the back plate - I cut my own for the big one between the back plate and the reservior and didn't need to replace the coupler seal) came to under $30.
